Equipment for the environment

Modelled on the Grenelle Environment Forum (2007), a "Grenelle of the Sea" was launched by the government in spring 2009.

A genuine forum bringing together elected representatives, professionals, NGOs and government departments, this Grenelle ended with a series of proposals aimed at promoting environmental protection without inhibiting economic development.

The CMF has been one of the players in this forum for real sustainable development.

Proposals are refined and developed in the COMOPS (operational committees) made up of industry specialists such as Armateurs de France and Fédération des Industries Nautiques. It is important now for the exercise to produce in a greater number of reasonable concrete actions!
